(2024)Microsoft Enables Users to Create Music and Songs with AI by Integrating Suno Tool into its Smart Assistant Copilot
Microsoft announced that it has enabled its users
to create music and songs based on artificial intelligence by integrating the Suno tool into its smart assistant Copilot, which it equipped with its Edge browser.
The tool allows users to generate complete songs including lyrics, melodies and sounds when the user enters a text command to the artificial intelligence assistant Copilot in Windows.
Users of Copilot can activate the Suno tool by running the Edge browser, then going to (Copilot.Microsoft.com) and logging in using their Microsoft account, then activating the Suno add-on by clicking on it.
Microsoft said in a post on its official website commenting on the integration of the Suno tool, that this partnership will open new horizons for creativity and fun, making music creation accessible to everyone.
Big and Emerging Companies Invest Heavily in Music Generation with AI
Big and emerging companies are investing heavily in music generation with artificial intelligence, as Google partnered with Lyra and Dream Track to create music and tones on YouTube, and Google itself is developing its own model.
Meta had launched two models, AudioGen and MusicGen, earlier to generate sounds and music based on artificial intelligence, and OpenAI has a similar project called JukeBox.
AI Models are Trained on Online Materials, Even if They are Protected by Copyright
All models of sound and music generation are trained on the materials available on the internet, even if they are protected by copyright, then the artificial intelligence algorithms learn from them and try to mimic them, and the outputs of the artificial intelligence tools and their mechanisms are still controversial in the absence of clear laws and binding and organized legislation for them.
What is the Suno tool?
How does Suno generate music?
Suno generates music using artificial intelligence. It uses a text-to-song model called Chirp v1, which can convert text prompts into music and lyrics. Chirp v1 can handle different genres of music, such as rock, pop, and K-pop, and also create songs with different moods and emotions. Chirp v1 learns from a large dataset of songs and lyrics, and uses neural networks to generate original and realistic songs. Suno also uses natural language processing to understand the user's input and create songs that match their preferences. Suno is a tool that aims to make music creation accessible and fun for everyone.
Can I use Suno to create music for commercial purposes?
